How rights holders can request removal of allegedly infringing material.

Effective / last updated: August 27, 2026

Reporting claimed infringement

A notice should identify the copyrighted work, identify the allegedly infringing material and its URL, provide your contact details, state your good-faith belief that use is unauthorized, state under penalty of perjury that the notice is accurate and you are authorized to act, and include a physical or electronic signature. Submit the notice through the listing form with “DMCA notice” at the start of the description until a designated-agent address is published.

Counter-notices

A valid counter-notice should identify removed material and its prior location, state under penalty of perjury a good-faith belief that removal resulted from mistake or misidentification, provide your name, address and phone, consent to jurisdiction of the appropriate U.S. federal district court, accept service from the complainant, and include a signature. We may restore material as allowed by 17 U.S.C. §512.

Repeat infringement and misrepresentation

We may terminate repeat infringers where appropriate. Knowingly material misrepresentations can create liability.
